Between March 2013 and June 2015, the Office for Black Catholics (OBC) published a monthly newsletter titled The Drum. In each issue there were insightful articles by regular and guest columnists. Andrew Lyke, the OBC Director, designed, edited, and published the newsletter, which had a readership throughout the parishes in the Black communities of Chicago and around the nation.
